I have HH 1st Butter and 2 of these new Butters. I Love the smoothness of this butter and scent. The Ingredients are great and it immediately tamed my dryness and flyaways.

Not loving this new formula

I used to love these products, they were so moisturizing and easy to apply on my hair. However, they changed the formula and the products started to look blue and everything changed. It is not about the color (I really do not care as long as the products work) but ever since they change the formula I think the products are a lot different. I do not know if it is just me, but I find the curl defining butter impossible to use and it used to be so soft and easy to melt in my hand whit the old formula. The same thing happens with the conditioner: it used to be soft and creamy and easy to apply in my hair and now it just impossible. It stays in my hair creating build up and it does nothing but make my hair unnecesary heavy.

I feel pretty sad because I thought I had found my dafinitive hair care routine and it was great but now I think I have to start looking for a new one. I used to love their products so much I even bought 6 conditioner bottles and 2 curl defining butters (I did not know they changed the formula) and now I do not even want to finish them.

I hope one day they let you choose between the new and the old formula so we can decide which one works better for our type of hair.
